Write for Us

We are looking for people to contribute content and become part of the editorial process of creating the content for the site. We know different people will have different reasons for becoming part of our content process.

Share your thoughts. (Opinions, Start ups…….)

If you want to provide an opinion on a particular sector, idea or issue in the tech industry (especially areas that get neglected), have a product/service you want to launch, a call to action about open source software, we will be glad to accommodate you.

(Disclaimer: If your article is more of a sales pitch, check out our advertising. We may refuse to publish the article. )

We print all articles/contributions with an author biography which will include your contact info, links to your website and a headshot photo.

Pay the Bills.

If your aim for writing for us is to get some additional revenue, that’s also great.

Provided your article meets our quality standards and we accept to publish your article then our remuneration structure will be;

  • Minimum base amount of GHC 5.00 per article
  • Maximum base amount of GHC 10.00 per article

We will also provide a bonus payment for the number of pageviews the article receives. This way popular content (which we hope means better quality) provides higher remuneration.

Bonus Payments

  • +GHC 5.00 2,500 pageviews
  • +GHC 7.50 5,000 pageviews
  • +GHC 10.00 7,500 pageviews
  • +GHC 15.00 10,000 pageviews

* Pageviews valid over a 90 day period for which we require exclusive rights to the content. We are open to other arrangements, if necessary. Share your way with us.

Semi-Pro / Pro Bloggers

Some of our contributors will be for periodic columns/blogs and will therefore be writing on a more frequent basis for us. The payment for such writers is as follows;

Retainer:

  1. GHC 25.00 for weekly blog/column
  2. GHC 50.00 for daily blog / column

    (*Daily refers to minimum of 4 articles per week)

    Weekly blogs/columns get the following bonus payments for total monthly traffic

    • +GHC 15.00 10,000 pageviews
    • +GHC 30.00 20,000 pageviews
    • +GHC 50.00 30,000 pageviews
    • +GHC 75.00 50,000 pageviews

    Daily blogs/column writers get the following bonus payments for total monthly traffic.

    • +GHC 50.00 25,000 pageviews
    • +GHC 75.00 50,000 pageviews
    • +GHC 100.00 75,000 pageviews
    • +GHC 150.00 100,000 pageviews

    These rates will be experimented with over the next few months until we achieve the best balance.
